The Curious Incident of the Dog ... 5

Dear 3 ege class students,

You all have shown
quite a lot of sensitivity for the relations between the literary characters. The mother's unfaithfulness has obviously bothered you the most!
Does this mean that you also appreciate faithfulness that much in your private life?

As for the mother's looks, you can read on the page 24:"Mother was a small person who smelt nice." Only one mentioning, so no wonder you couldn't recall.

Now let's move to the 5th, the last task in this cluster.

As you know, Christopher has a row of behavioral problems, described as autistic.
Just to name some of them: not talking to people for a long time, not liking being touched, screaming, refusing food, especially if it is the "wrong" colour ( yellow or brown in Christopher's case) ...

WHAT WOULD GO ON WITH YOU, YOUR TEACHERS AND CHRISTOPHER IF HE SPENT A MORNING WITH YOUR CLASS?

How would you approach him? Would he be able to endure with so many people in one room? ... Just unleash your imagination. OK?

The film on autism, Rainman; starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman
We must watch it once in the near future!

Well the film Rainman is a good film, acters are just fine, but there is another film, it calls When do we eat, it's a comedy but the kid is just preteding to be an autistic. Well if we spent a morning with Christopher in a our class...that could be a problem because you said and we all know that is hard to comunicate with an autistic person. I would approach him very carefully and trying to talk with him, but I don't have an idea how. The conversation will have to be with no touching, because he don't like to be touched. He would be nervous because of the noise we make in class. Really I don't have an idea how to approach him.

If some child with autism comes in our class it will be so unusual. We will comunicate very hard, but in some times we will get accustomed each other. I would approach him very carefully and I would be very kind and understandable with him. And probably we will learn some new and we will feel how hard they live.

Bringing Christopher in our class in my opinion is not a great idea.Ther is a lot of things that he will have troubles with, like a lot of people in one small room and that makes a lot of noise meybe wi will be in a yellow colored room so he wil be desperate and nervous.Abaut speaking to him, that will be the next problem I dont know how will I speak to him in english probably:)You have to be prepared and very carefully what will you say to him words must be easi to undersatnd and they musnt have no other meaning. And probably you will get him to tallk only in room with a few people. In the beginning i will probably start talking about the mathematics and milky-way or things that he love.

If Chrisopher would spent a morning in our class, he would probably went crazy, becouse of our noise.
When I would decided to met him, I would approach him, but not to close (he hates that). I would say Hi and tell him my name, then I would start a conversation.
Overall I think that Christopher would be able to spent a day in our class, but in one case. we should be quiet.

Our class is really lively and there is no piece. I don’t know how Christopher would fell in our class, because he can't stand touch and noise. Probably everyone would accommodated him, because to accept different peoples is human. I will try to talk with him and be very kind. I think Christopher will need to a long time to accept and understand us, till then everyone had to be very patience.

That would be dangerous! Except when we will have a hour of maths, we would need him. He could teach us maths and all students would hear him . He could teach us to concentrace and to listening.

Yes.tanja have right. In our class is no peace meanwhile the school-hour. We are to loudly. But I think I could approach to autistic pearson. It would be very hard and difficult,...beacuse avtistic peple doesn't like loud voices, noise, and touching. I would be very slowly and nice,...betweem the conversation i mean. I seen that film: rain man. It is one of my best films ever:D . And if ur class would spent a little time with autistic pearson,....it would be hard for us. Comunication wold be very bad,...that is my opinion :),...bye ( Miha Zore 14 )ciao!

Hello! It would be nice to spent a day with person, who have an autism, because this people are different from others. I don't know how he would accept us and how we could communicate with him. I would do my best to understand him and try to speak in his way and I don't doubt that this would be a great experience for me and for all in the class.
