I think that the dog has killed Mr Shears, because he wanted to revenge Mrs Shears.
Christopher tried to imitate detective from book The Hound of the Baskervilles, because this book is his favourite and he adores Sherlock Holmes.

In my opinion Christopher want to imitate detective from his favorite book The Hound of the Baskervilles.
For 100% I know that Christopher tried to imitate detective form his favourite book that was called The Hound of the Baskervilles.
Well who was the killer of the dog, hm...I don't know exactly, but I think it's Mr.Shears, because he wanted to revenge on some way to Mrs Shears, so he killed the poor dog.
Cristopher is trying to imitate a famous english detecitive Sherlock Holmes in book called The Hound of the Baskervilles.
I have two suspects who has killed the dog. The first person is Cristopher's father - He is trying to stop Christopher's writing and exploring of dog's murder.
Secound suspect is Mr. Shears - Maybe he wanted to revenge Mrs. Shears, because she divorced him, and probably kicked him out of his home because of his affair with Cristopher's mother.
I think that the dog was killed by his father, becouse C. mother and Mr Shears had an affair.

Christopher tried to imitate detective The Hound of the Baskervilles. In my opinion is the murder Christopher’s father. I don’t think that he is a bad father, but his behavior is showing us that he is the murder. I think that he is suspect because he didn’t let Christopher to finish his book and investigation the murder.

I do not know who kill Wellington. But I suspet Mrs Shears, becouse he want to revenge his wife, becouse she wants to divorce.

I dont know who killd the dog, here all say that Chrisophers father killd the dog, I am not sure, because I havent readed yet but it can be, because he dont want to invastigate abaut the dog. And this make Christopher very sad but he will try to investigate in advance so we will find out. I agree with my schoolmates that Christophers father killed the dog. Sherlock Holmes is the famous detective who he tries to imitate. His favourite detective story is the Hound of the Baskervilles.
Well,...I think that the dog was killed by Christopher's father. First: beacuse Christopher's mother had an affair with Mr. Shears. Than th next reason: that the C. father was trying to stop C. investigation about the murder of the poor dog. Christopher's best pearson(or idol) was Sherlock Holmes from the book The Hound of the Baskervilles.
His father has killed the dog. I was so interested to know who kill the dog and i read some pages in the end.
